Shippensburg University Athletics

2016 (Sophomore): Earned All-PSAC honors after leading SU with a .354 batting average in second season with the team…named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar-Athlete…was the team’s leadoff hitter and left fielder in all 43 games…only player to start every game at the same position…led team with 10 doubles and a .406 on-base percentage…ranked in the Top 20 of the PSAC in hits, average and doubles…tied for team lead with 23 runs scored….stole three bases…walked 11 times and struck out 11 times…posted a .422 slugging percentage and drove in 10 runs…made just one error and posted a .985 fielding percentage…had a team-high 17 multi-hit games…went 4-for-4 against Cedarville…had a seven-game hit streak from March 31 – April 8 with five multi-hit games.
 
2015 (Freshman): Appeared in 19 games as a reserve outfielder in her first season with the Raiders…named an NFCA Scholar Athlete…contributed five hits in 22 at-bats…hit a two-run home run against East Stroudsburg in her second career start…went 1-for-2 with an RBI triple and two runs scored on April 4 against Mansfield...started five games in right field and two in left field.
 
Greater Johnstown High School: Batted over .600 in earning multiple varsity letters with the Trojans playing for coach Randy Romesberg…totaled 126 hits in four years, making her the all-time hits leader at Greater Johnstown High School…named to the Laurel Highlands All-Conference Team…exceled on the club circuit with Nitro Showcase and coach Andy Popojas…cranked out 78 hits and a .538 average in her 2013 club season, including 16 extra-base hits…selected as a member of the National Honor Society…also played volleyball.

About Bicko: Full name is Tara Lynne Bicko…is the daughter of Rick and Lisa Bicko…majoring in exercise science…has a sister, Haley, who plays softball and soccer.
