2020 (Sophomore): Did not see game action in a season that was canceled in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
 
2019 (Freshman): Functioned as a pinch runner and key reserve for the Raiders in her debut season…appeared in 28 games…made nine starts, including five at designated player and four in right field…scored 12 runs and had one stolen base…posted a .206 batting average over 34 at-bats…had seven hits and two sacrifice flies…hit a three-run home run at Glenville State…also produced a three-hit game against Glenville State.
 
Everett Area High School: Earned four varsity letters as the starting shortstop for the Warriors under coach Jackie Levy…competed at the club level with Keystone Stingers for coach Shane Weyant and Winning Edge Energy under the direction of her father…was a three-time All-State selection, earning First Team honors as a junior and senior and Second Team honors as a sophomore…earned three Inter-County Conference and Sideling Hill League All-Star honors…tabbed as a two-time Altoona Mirror First Team All Star and a three-time Bedford Gazette All Star…named the 2017-18 Bedford Gazette Female Athlete of the Year and the 2017-18 Altoona Mirror Ron Rickens Sportsmanship Award winner…contributed to high school teams that won three District 5 Championships, two Sideling Hill League Championships, and two Inter-County Conference South Championships…played on club teams that won the 2017 USSSA Eastern World Series Championship (Winning Edge Energy) and the 2018 Pony National Championship (Keystone Stingers)…also earned four varsity letters in basketball, finishing as a 1,000 point scorer…was the valedictorian of her graduating class…served as the president of her school’s chapter of the National Honor Society…selected as a winner of the 2018 PA State Athletic Directors’ Association Essay Contest.
 
About Reffner: Full name is Sydney Grace Reffner…is the daughter of Corey and Mia Reffner…majoring in early childhood education…has a brother, Karson…father, Corey, played and coached Division I baseball at James Madison and was inducted into the Bedford County Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
