Shippensburg University Athletics

2011 (Freshman): Emerged as a regular at shortstop during her debut season…started all 27 games in which she appeared…recorded 14 hits…scored eight runs…tallied six RBIs…posted a .922 fielding percentage…started both of the team’s NCAA tournament games at shortstop…had multiple hits in PSAC Eastern Division games against West Chester and Kutztown and three total games for the season…strung together a five-game hitting streak during the season.

Our Lady of Good Counsel: Won four letters under head coach Paula Obal at Our Lady of Good Counsel…hit .342 with one home run and 17 RBIs in her career…finished her high school career with a .418 slugging percentage and a .413 on-base percentage…selected WCAC First Team, All-Gazette First Team and Washington Post Honorable Mention as a senior…also earned WCAC Second Team honors during her junior season…played for the MVSA Storm at the club circuit…also played basketball at Our Lady of Good Counsel.

Personal: Full name is Marygrace Giovannina Serra…is the daughter of Stephen and Duffy Serra…majoring in business administration…has three sisters: Danielle, Jennifer and Ruth.
