2018 (Sophomore): Played in 22 games as a reserve for the Raiders in her second season…maintained her status as one of the team’s primary pinch runners…scored seven runs.
 
2017 (Freshman): Appeared in 38 games as a primary reserve for the Raiders in her debut season…functioned as a primary pinch runner…ranked eighth on the team with 13 runs scored…had two hits and an RBI against Virginia Union…drew one walk…finished with two stolen bases.
 
Easton High School: Earned three varsity letters in softball as a member of the Red Rovers under head coach Ed McIntyre…competed at the club level with Northern Valley Cyclones under coach Ed O’Dea…named to the All-Area Second Team…posted a .333 batting average and a .467 on-base percentage as a senior.
 
About McConnell: Full name is Madisen Paige McConnell…is the daughter of Daniel McConnell and Jacie Grants…majoring in human communication studies…has a brother, Garrett Grants.
