Shippensburg University Athletics

2009 (Junior): Appeared in 10 games and made one start versus Lewis at the Rebel Spring Games…stole two bases…thrived as a pinch runner..scored four runs during the season.

2008 (Sophomore): Attended Shippensburg University but was not with the team.

2007 (Freshman): Appeared in 20 games as a freshman for the Lady Raider softball team…recorded one RBI in four at-bats…thrived as a pinch runner, scoring 10 runs.

Philipsburg-Osceola High School: Named a District 6 First Team All Star and a MAC First Team All Star while finishing her high school career as a four-year letter winner for head coach Jim Gonder in the Mountain Athletic Conference…recorded a .437 batting average as a senior and a .532 on-base percentage for her career…was an outside and opposite hitter for the volleyball team…won a total of seven varsity letters…competed for club team Philipsburg Hurricanes under head coach Jim Gonder and was a member of the Philipsburg Club Volleyball team…inducted into the Softball Hall of Fame in 2006 exactly 30 years after her mother JoAnn was inducted in 1976.

Personal: Full name is Kiley Marie Abersold…born on June 11, 1988…is the daughter of JoAnn and Vic Abersold….majoring in sociology while at Shippensburg.
