2016 (Freshman): Emerged as a valuable member of the SU rotation before going down with an injury midway through the season… named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar-Athlete…posted a 3.80 ERA in 27.2 innings (eight appearances, four starts)…did not allow a run in first three career appearances (9.1 innings)…earned the win in collegiate debut, throwing 4.1 scoreless innings in a win over Wilmington (Del.)…allowed one run in season-high six innings of work against Cedarville…struck out multiple batters in three appearances…walked just four batters…allowed just seven extra-base hits on the season.
 
Notre Dame High School: Earned four varsity letters with the Irish under head coach Artie Kearns…received All-Colonial Valley Conference honorable mention…twice recognized with a Coach’s Award…contributor to a Mercer County Championship and a South Jersey Regional Championship, finishing as a New Jersey state runner-up (Parochial A division)…compiled a 1.30 career ERA, holding opponents to a .196 average against…maintained an ERA of 0.87 as a senior, holding opponents to a .166 batting average against…won 86 percent of her career games…was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society…played club ball with Sports Connection for coach Bob Notarfrancesco.

About Tosti: Full name is Julia Lynn Tosti…is the daughter of Andy and Geri Tosti…majoring in exercise science…has two sisters, Savannah Tosti and Brittany Taylor.
