Biography

2014 (Junior): Maintained her presence as a productive offensive player in her third season with the team…appeared in 48 of 53 games, making 46 starts (41 at designated player, five at first base)…hit .292 with 16 RBIs and seven doubles…struck out just six times in 137 at-bats…stole two bases and scored 11 runs…smacked a home run in the PSAC Tournament against California…named the PSAC East Player of the Week on April 21 after going 11-for-19 (.579) with five RBIs and improving her batting average by 85 points in a six-game span…totaled five hits in a doubleheader against West Chester, including a 3-for-4, two-RBI effort in Game 2…produced a season-long hitting streak of 10 games, second-longest among SU players, including five consecutive games with multiple hits…had 10 multi-hit games on the year…produced five multi-RBI games.
 
2013 (Sophomore): Led the Raiders in RBIs during her second season with the team…totaled 25 RBIs and 35 hits, including eight doubles and two home runs…scored eight runs…started 41 of the team’s 44 games…stole two bases…worked primarily as a designated player but also saw time at first base…produced seven multi-hit and multi-RBI games and a season-long hitting streak of six games…posted a .243 batting average…went 4-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs in a victory over Pace…produced multiple RBIs in both games of back-to-back doubleheaders on March 16 and March 19, including a 2-for-2 effort against IUP that included a double and three RBIs…hit .377 in the first 15 games of the season with 17 RBIs.
 
2012 (Freshman): Filled the role as the team’s regular designated hitter in her first season at Shippensburg…batted .282 in 38 games played…regularly batted anywhere from third to sixth in the lineup…posted 29 hits, including three doubles, and drove in 14 runs…drew seven walks and stole two bases…10 multiple-hit games were second-most on the team…also recorded three multiple-RBI games (tied for third-most on the team)…accounted for two hits each and drove in two runs each in back-to-back games against Millersville (to end the regular season) and Lock Haven (the first game of the PSAC Tournament)…totaled two hits and drove in two runs against Barton.
 
Urbana High School: Was a varsity starter for the Hawks under head coach Frank Husson…posted a .430 batting average through three seasons, totaling 49 RBIs and striking out just five times in nearly 200 at-bats…named to the All-MVAL Softball First Team squads in 2009 and 2010 after earning a Second Team pick as a freshman…received Washington Post All Metro honorable mention as a junior…selected twice to the Frederick News Post and All-Gazette First Team squads…played for club team Frederick Heartbreakers under coach Darryl Ramsburg...compiled a .385 batting average and 125 RBIs in four years of club play…member of the National Honor Society.
