Bobbi Jo Carosi is in her second season assisting the Shippensburg University softball team. Carosi played for the Raiders from 1990-91.
Carosi has been working with young softball players for nearly 15 years, beginning as a coach with the Fayetteville Athletic Association. She primarily works with pitchers. Last year, she started a U12 travel team, PA Ignite. Among her players is her 11-year-old daughter, Kara, who serves as the Raider bat girl.
As a player, Carosi was a four-year varsity high school pitcher with Chambersburg Area Senior High School. She also played one year with the Harrisburg Patriots travel team and went on to earn her diploma from Thomson Institute.
Carosi is married to her husband Gabriel and is the mother of five children.
