2015 Cross Country: Competed in four races for the Raiders during his third cross country season…finished 11th as SU’s No. 5 runner at the Go Fast River Run (Lock Haven) to conclude his season…posted Top 40 finishes at the Division II Challenge (Kutztown) and the Mack Cooper Invitational (Slippery Rock).
2015 Outdoor: Placed seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in running a 10-second personal best of 9:30 during his second outdoor campaign with the Raiders…ran the event twice during the regular season…ran the 3K once outdoors, posting a PR of 9:01 at the SU Invitational…
2015 Indoor: Qualified for the 5K at the PSAC Indoor Championships, placing 27th…notched his season PR and qualifier at the Bison Opener (Bucknell)…participated in just three meets total during the regular season.
2014 Cross Country: Competed in the first five races of the season…served as SU’s No. 2 runner among those in the open race at the Paul Short Invitational, placing 89th…posted a Top 20 finish at the ECAC Championships in Mansfield…achieved Top 40 finishes in four races overall.
2014 Outdoor: Placed sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase during his first outdoor season with the Raiders…notched a three-second PR at the conference championships after running the event twice during the season…qualified for the 5K at the PSAC Championships on a season best at the Bison Outdoor Classic (Bucknell)…ran the 800 and 1,500 meters at Millersville…participated in six meets overall during the season.
2014 Indoor: Competed in a number of events during the season, including three times in the 3K…notched a season best in the 3K at the Bucknell Tune-Up…ran the mile and 1,000 meters at the Gulden Invitational (Bucknell)…did not compete at the PSAC Indoor Championships…participated in four meets overall during the season.
2013 Cross Country: Debuted with the Raiders, competing in six meets during his redshirt-freshman season…placed 14th as SU’s No. 5 runner at the Go Fast River Run (Lock Haven) to conclude his season…served as SU’s No. 4 runner among those in the Open race at the Paul Short Invitational…was SU’s No. 4 runner at Gettysburg, placing 31st.
2013 Outdoor: Competed once in the mile and once in the 5K during an outdoor season at UMass Lowell.
2013 Indoor: Placed eighth in the 3K at the NE-10 Indoor Championships during his debut season with UMass Lowell…established an indoor collegiate best in the mile at the URI Coaches Tribute Invite…competed once in the mile and 5K outdoors…
2012 Cross Country: Redshirt season at UMass-Lowell.
Troy Area High School: Tallied seven varsity letters with the Trojans running for coach Ronald Bellinger…posted a personal best of 16:09 at 5K…graduated with honors.
Personal: Zachary Vaugh Despreaux…is the son of Doug Despreaux and Christina Fuller….majoring in economics, concentrating in mathematics.
