2010-11 (Junior): Stepped up with a stellar season in his third year with the Raiders…combined for five PSAC placewinning performances at the indoor and outdoor championship meets…earned outdoor All-PSAC honors in the shot (second place) and discus (third place)…placed seventh in the hammer…finished fifth indoors in the weight and seventh in the shot…shattered his outdoor PRs in the shot, discus and hammer…established new indoor PRs in the weight and the shot…received USTFCCCA all-region accolades for his PR in the discus set at the Paul Kaiser Classic from Seth Grove Stadium…
2009-10 (Sophomore): Improved as a thrower for the Raiders in his second season…placed sixth in the discus and eighth in the shot put at the PSAC outdoor meet…set new PRs in the shot, discus and the weight throw.
2008-09 (Freshman): Finished his debut season as a member of the Red Raider track and field program…competed in throwing events…placed seventh in the discus at the PSAC outdoor meet.
Central Dauphin East High School: Earned four varsity letters for the Panthers under coach Steve Grubb…won district championships in the shot and the discus…established current lifetime PRs in the shot and the discus…was a multiple honor roll student…also played football.
Personal: Full name is Travis Tyrone Nye…is the son of Donna Nye…majoring in criminal justice.
