2016 Indoors: Placed seventh in the 400 meters and contributed to a second-place turn in the 4x400-meter relay at the PSAC Indoor Championships for the Raiders…ran the third leg of a 4x4 relay that posted a time of 3:18.63…competed twice in the 200 and once in the 800 during the season…notched a season best in the 400 meters of 49.62 seconds at the Hemery Invitational (Boston)…participated in six meets during the season.
2015 Outdoors: Granted a medical redshirt…competed once in the 400 meters at the Maryland Invitational…missed remainder of season due to injury.
2015 Indoors: Earned All-America Second Team honors in running the 400-meter leg of SU’s distance medley relay (DMR) at the NCAA Indoor Championships in his debut season with the Raiders…qualified for the 400 meters at the PSAC Indoor Championships, placing 15th…qualified for nationals with a splendid DMR of 9:52.33 at the Hemery Invitational (Boston)…ran season best in the 400 of 50.07 seconds at the Hemery Invitational (Boston)…competed three times with the 4x400-meter relay…ran the 200 meters twice on the year…participated in eight meets during the season including the NCAA Championships.
2014 Outdoors: Won the CACC title in the 200 meters for the Tigers of Holy Family in debut outdoor season…ran 23.44 seconds in his only 200 meter run of the season…competed four times in the 400 meters, running a season best of 49.43 seconds at the Philadelphia College classic…ran twice with his school’s 4x4 relay…participated in five meets during the season.
2014 Indoors: Ran the 400 meters and on a 4x400-meter relay for the Tigers of Holy Family during his debut collegiate season…posted a season best in the 400 of 50.32 seconds at Princeton and a season PR with his school’s 4x4 relay at the Armory…participated in four meets during the season.
Penn Wood High School: Totaled five varsity letters with the Patriots under coach Lenny Jordan…won two PIAA state titles with his school’s 4x400-meter relay, earning two All-State First Team honors in the process…received All-Delaware County First Team honors three times and All-Delaware County Second Team honors once during his career…was an honor-roll student.
Personal: Full name is Ricky Rijel Meriwether…is the son of Stanley Meriwether and Shawn Beatty…majoring in management, concentrating in entrepreneurship and corporations...has two sisters, Sydnee and Kamani.
