2012-13 (Junior): Exceled as a sprinter with two PSAC individual indoor place-winning performances in his third season with the Raiders…finished sixth in the open 200 meters and eighth in the open 400 meters at the PSAC Indoor Championships, establishing new personal bests in both events in the process…participated on an indoor 4x200-meter relay at The Armory that set a school record…also participated in a sprint medley relay at William & Mary that set a new outdoor school record…was a PSAC outdoor qualifier in the 400 meters…set new personal outdoor bests in the 200 and 400 meters at the Fred Hardy Invitational.
2011-12 (Sophomore): Contributed to a pair of PSAC place-winning performances in relays for the Raiders in his second season…won a PSAC indoor title with the DMR running the 400-meter leg…placed sixth at the PSAC outdoor championships with the 4x100-meter relay…was a PSAC indoor qualifier in the 200 meters, finishing 11th.
2010-11 (Freshman): Performed well in sprints during his debut season with the Raiders…qualified for the PSAC indoor championships in the 200 and 400 meters and the PSAC outdoor championships in the 200 meters…established his outdoor PR in the 400 meters at the Paul Kaiser Classic from Seth Grove Stadium and his outdoor PR in the 200 meters at the Millersville Metrics.
Archbishop Wood High School: Earned four varsity letters with the Vikings under coach Fran McLaughlin...earned First Team All-Catholic league honors as a senior, second-team honors as a junior and honorable mention as a sophomore…posted PRs of 11.42 in the 100, 22.5 in the 200 and 50.51 in the 400…served as a team captain in his junior and senior seasons…also played football.
Personal: Full name is Kevin Zachary Shaw…is the son of Kevin M. and Janice Shaw…majoring in business management…has two siblings, Talia and Colton.
