2015 Outdoors: Placed seventh in the decathlon as a rookie at the PSAC Outdoor Championships on a PR score of 5,800 points…achieved PRs in the 110-meter hurdles, discus, javelin, high jump and 1,500 meters at the conference championships…notched his qualifier at the Mondschein Multis (Kutztown)…also competed in four other meets throughout the year in various events.
 
2015 Indoors: Made an immediate impact with a fourth-place finish in the heptathlon at his inaugural PSAC Indoor Championships…totaled 4,469 points at the conference meet, just 20 points off his personal-best score from earlier in the season…set his PR in the pole vault at the conference championships…established the majority of his personal bests, including his heptathlon score, at the Bison Open & Multi (Bucknell).
 
East Juniata High School: Totaled 12 varsity letters as a multi-sport athlete for the Tigers, competing in track & field for head coach Mark Ritzman…placed seventh in the PIAA State Championships for the 110-meter hurdles as a senior…was a state qualifier as a senior in the triple jump and both hurdles events…was a state qualifier as a junior in the 300-meter hurdles…named the MVP of the Tri-Valley League in both football and track & field as a senior…previously named MVP of the Tri-Valley League for track & field as a junior and cited as District 4’s Outstanding Athlete as a senior…also played basketball…honor roll student.
 
Personal: Full name is David Lee Brantley…is the son of David Brantley and Nikki Mamallis…majoring in management, concentrating in international management…cousin Harold Brantley is a starting defensive tackle for the Missouri Tigers football team who earned All-SEC honors in 2014.
