Laura Henzy joins the coaching staff this season as a specialist working with the sprinters. Henzy, a native of Langhorne, was a three-time USTFCCCA All-Academic Team member with the Raiders whose specialty was the 400-meter run.
Henzy was a three-time Division II All-American, winning a national championship on the 2011 indoor distance medley relay squad in addition to running on the 2008 and 2009 outdoor 4x400-meter relay squads at the NCAA championships.
Overall, Henzy was a 19-time PSAC placewinner with the Raiders. Included in that total are Top 6 finishes in all eight of her career 400-meter races at the conference championships. She earned a conference championship in 2008 with the indoor 4x400-meter relay squad.
Henzy has contributed to school records in the indoor and outdoor 4x400-meter relay. In addition to her work as a 400-meter runner, Henzy was also a three-time PSAC placewinner in the 200 meters. She graduated in May with a degree in supply chain management.
