Josh Neyhart joins the coaching staff this season as a specialist with the mid-distance runners. Neyhart and will serve as a mentor to a group with which he is very familiar - having achieved great success in recent years with the cross country and track and field programs.
In cross country, Neyhart was a key member of the SU squads that became the first in school history to win a conference and a regional championship. He ran twice at the national championships and was a three-time All-PSAC performer, including a fifth-place finish as a senior.
Neyhart qualified for the outdoor national track and field championships in the 1,500-meter run during his senior year and was a conference champion in the same event. He also is a veteran of a DMR squad that established a school record and won a conference championship in 2009.
For his track career, Neyhart was a 13-time PSAC placewinner, 8-time All-PSAC performer and a two-time PSAC champion. He graduated in 2010 with a degree in political science.
