2010-11 (Senior): Put forth one of the most dominant indoor seasons in school history, anchoring the DMR squad to its first and only national championship before finishing second in the 5,000 meters one day later at the national championship…achieved his first career All-America honors as a result…named an Academic All-America Second Team pick…became the first men’s athlete in school history to win multiple PSAC Top 10 awards in the same year; receiving a PSAC Winter Top 10 and Spring Top 10 award…earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors for his season PR in the 1,500 meters at the Fred Hardy Invitational…posted a career PR in the mile at the Millersville Metrics…earned three All-PSAC citations at the indoor conference championships, including a title in the DMR and second-place finishes in the mile and 3K.
2009-10 (Junior): Returned to form as a dynamic distance runner for the Raiders in his third year with the program…helped the men defend their PSAC outdoor championship with a dynamic meet…won the outdoor 5K title at the PSAC meet…finished second in the steeplechase to help SU clinch its crown…placed fourth in the 3K and sixth in the 5K at the PSAC indoor meet…provisionally qualified for the NCAA outdoor meet in the steeplechase…named to the ESPN/CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team squad.
2008-09 (Sophomore): Dominated during the indoor season but missed the outdoor season due to injury…earned the PSAC Indoor Championships Meet MVP for the track competition after winning the DMR and mile while finishing second in the 3,000-meter run…named the 2008-09 Shippensburg University Men’s Student Athlete of the Year for his outstanding work both on the track and in the classroom…also selected to the USTFCCCA D-II All-Academic Team.
2007-08 (Freshman): Won the PSAC outdoor championship in the steeplechase in his debut season with the Red Raider track and field program…also placed fourth in the 5K during the PSAC outdoor meet.
Personal: Full name is Bryan David Beegle…is the son of Greg and Becky Beegle…earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice…father was an All-American steeplechase competitor in 1984 while at Millersville.
