2011-12 (Junior): Qualified for multiple events at the PSAC indoor and outdoor championships in his second season with the Raiders…ran the mile and 3K at the PSAC indoor championships, placing 10th in the mile…narrowly missed a place-winning performance at the PSAC outdoor championships, placing ninth in the 1,500 meters…established a new outdoor PR in the 1,500 meters at the Paul Kaiser Classic and in the 3K at Richmond…improved his indoor PR in the mile by almost 10 full seconds at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational.

2010-11 (Sophomore): Joined the Raider squad and improved all of his major track & field PRs…ran the second leg of the 4x800-meter relay squad that finished third at the PSAC indoor meet…established his indoor PR in the mile with a victory and PSAC qualifier at the ESU DeSchriver Invitational…set a new outdoor PR in the 1,500 meters with a PSAC qualifier at the Bison Outdoor Classic.

2009-10 (Freshman): Participated in track and field and cross country at East Carolina University…contributed a leg to the team’s DMR squad that competed at the Conference USA Indoor Championships…individually ran the mile at the C-USA indoor meet…competed outdoors in the 1,500 meters…posted a season-best cross country time of 26:16 from the Great American Cross Country Festival in Cary, N.C…also ran at the NCAA Regional meet from Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, posting a 10K time of 35:52.

North Penn High School: Thrived for the Knights under coaches Ron Jaros and Jay Jones, totaling 11 varsity letters…was a two-time All-American with his school’s 4x800-meter relay and won two cross country team championships…won 4x800-meter relay championships (two indoor and two outdoor) and individually placed eighth in the 800 at the PIAA state meet with a time of 1:55.42.

Personal: Full name is Brian Timothy Quintrell…is the son of Tim and Wendy Quintrell…majoring in history…has one brother, Greg…both of his parents attended Shippensburg.
