2014 (Sophomore): Maintained a role as an integral defender for the team in his second year on the squad…appeared in nine games on the back lines, making eight starts…totaled five shots, including two on goal.
 
2013 (Freshman): Emerged as a regular defender in his first season…appeared in 15 of the team’s 18 games, making 13 starts…worked as a starter in the final eight games of the season, including the PSAC Quarterfinals…played in nine conference contests during the regular season.
 
Upper Dublin High School: Earned three varsity letters as a Cardinal under head coach Richard Schmidt…received First Team All-Conference honors…also played lacrosse and threw the javelin for the Cardinals…played club soccer for the PA Rush under coach Herb Vinarski.
 
About Whitehead: Full name is Tyler Scott Whitehead…is the son of Todd Whitehead and Christina Stubanas…majoring in biology.
