Patrick Zook is in his first full season as an equipment manager at Shippensburg University in 2022-23, having joined the Raider staff in August 2022.
Zook helps maintain uniform and equipment inventories for a number of Raider teams. He assists with uniform and equipment distribution at practices and ensures that all uniforms and related apparel and equipment are maintained in a clean and serviceable condition. Zook also assists with facilities and provides valuable gameday assistance to other areas of campus such as sports information, grounds and campus safety.
Zook arrived at Shippensburg after working for one year as a student facility operations manager at his alma mater, Ohio State University. He was responsible for leading a staff that was responsible for setup of gyms and meeting rooms across the Columbus campus.
In addition to his work at Ohio State, Zook spent a year as a field representative and supervisor for Columbus, Ohio Parks and Recreation. Zook monitored adult recreational sports leagues and helped maintain various facilities, including parks and gyms, throughout the staff.
A native of Chambersburg, Zook graduated from Ohio State in 2022 with a degree in sport industry.
