2013 (R-Junior): Appeared in one game for James Madison, recording an assist in a match against Georgia Southern, in his fourth year with the Dukes.  
 
2012 (R-Sophomore): Came off the bench in one game during his third year at James Madison…received a CAA Commissioners Academic Award and was a JMU Athletic Director Scholar Athlete.
 
2011 (R-Freshman): Did not see game action for the Dukes in his second year at James Madison…was the co-recipient of the team’s Michael J. Frye Memorial Award…received a CAA Commissioners Academic Award and was a JMU Athletic Director Scholar Athlete.

2010 (Freshman): Redshirt season at James Madison.
 
St. Mary’s College (HS): Thrived in prep career playing for coach Jason Edwards…contributed to a 2007 North Zone Intercol championship, 2008 North Zone Intercol semifinals appearance and 2009 North Zone Intercol runner-up finish…played a major part in National Intercol semifinalist appearance in 2007 and 2009, the latter year winning the North Zone League Championship…scored four goals in the opening five games during his team’s 2009 North Zone League title run and later added a game-winning goal on a penalty kick in the North Zone Intercol semifinals…was valedictorian of his class and head of school prefect…earned St. Ellis Clark award for outstanding community service.
 
About Garcia: Full name is Renaldo K. Garcia…is the son of Christopher and Kitty Garcia…studying toward his MBA at Shippensburg after graduating from James Madison with a degree in business administration…has three siblings…has an uncle, Mario, who was a three-time All-America at West Virginia Wesleyan and two-time NAIA national champion (1984, 1985).
