Shippensburg University Athletics

2008 (Junior): Anchored the Red Raider backfield by starting all 18 games during the season in his third year with the team…was one of just six players to start in every game…provided invaluable leadership and experience along the back lines…fired shots against East Stroudsburg and Millersville.

2007 (Sophomore): Continued to evolve as a defensive specialist for the Red Raiders in second season with the team…came off the bench in 13 games for Shippensburg…made appearances against Holy Family, Kutztown, Slippery Rock, Bloomsburg, California (PA.), NYIT, Lock Haven, East Stroudsburg and UDC.

2006 (Freshman): Appeared in seven contests as a defensive reserve, including games against NYIT, Kutztown, Slippery Rock, Millersville and Bloomsburg…did not record any statistics.

Southern Lehigh High School: Was a sweeper and a three-time letter winner for the Spartans under coach Terry Nevill in the Colonial League.

Personal: Full name is Keith Martin Kassel…is the son of Bob and Sandy Kassel…born on Feb. 9, 1988 in Coopersburg…majoring is finance.
