Saucon Valley High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Panthers under head coach Tim Houghton…competed at the club level for Lehigh Valley United for coach Luis Devia…finished as a three-time All-Colonial League defender, including First Team honors as a senior…contributed to a AAA District Championship as a senior…received the Outstanding Senior award…named Most Improved Player after his freshman season…had a hand in numerous successes with his club team…also played baseball, earning four varsity letters…was a consistent member of the high honor roll, graduating with a 3.4 GPA.
 
About Thatcher: Full name is Jared Michael Thatcher…is the son of Jim and Barb Thatcher…majoring in criminal justice…has a brother, Zach…his cousin, Jaime Wohlbach, is the head softball coach at East Stroudsburg.
