2013 (R-Junior): Named to the 2013 All-PSAC and Daktronics All-Atlantic Region Second Team squads after a career season…played in all 18 games and started all but one…led the Raiders and tied for fourth-most in the conference with 11 goals, matching his career total entering the year…achieved the first double-digit goals season by a Raider since 2010…paced the Raiders with points (26) and shots (64), as his totals in each category were more than twice as many as any teammate…became the fifth different Raider selected to the Daktronics All-Atlantic Region team since selection of the teams started back in 2006…team was 6-1-1 in games that he netted a goal…recorded a hat trick in a home rout of UPJ, the first for a SHIP player since 2007…notched four game-winning goals on the season, including an overtime golden goal at Gannon and go-ahead tallies against ESU, UPJ and Seton Hill…contributed assists against Mercyhurst, Lock Haven, Bloomsburg and UPJ…also recorded goals against West Virginia Wesleyan, Point Park, Cedarville (penalty kick) and Slippery Rock (penalty kick) in addition to another against Gannon…provided at least one point in 11 of 18 games…totaled 31 shots on goal…totaled seven points against UPJ, one point short of tying the school single-game record, but the most for a Raider since Andy Jennings also had three goals and an assist in a win over Goldey-Beacom on Sept. 28, 2004…named PSAC Athlete of the Week on October 28 after a four-goal weekend that included two game-winners and helped SU clinch its first playoff berth in four years.
 
2012 (Junior): Redshirt season due to injury.
 
2011 (Sophomore): Finished second on the team in goals, points and shots in his second season with the squad…appeared in 16 games and started nine…scored four goals…had three game-winners – against Gannon, Concord and West Chester – which led the team…also added an assist against Lock Haven…finished the season with nine points…took 29 shots, including 12 on goal.
 
2010 (Freshman): Made an immediate impact as a freshman striker for the Raiders in his debut season…appeared in 18 games, all off the bench…tied for third on the team with seven goals…ranked fourth on the squad with 16 points…converted exactly half of his shots on goal into points…scored his first collegiate goal in a road match at Lock Haven that stood up to be the game-winner…ripped two goals in the PSAC semifinal victory over Slippery Rock…recorded a goal and an assist in an overtime win over UDC…tallied three goals in the final four games of the season with strikes against Point Park, Felician and California (Pa.)…added an assist against Millersville.
 
Spring Grove High School:  Earned four letters while at Spring Grove and was coached by his father David Roy…netted 57 goals and collected 19 assists during prep career…named the YAIAA Division I Co-Player of the Year following his senior season…selected to the YAIAA’s Division I First Team each season from 2007-2009…picked as the Hanover Evening Sun’s Player of the Year in 2008…chosen as a Hanover Evening Sun All-Area First Teamer as a sophomore, junior and senior…was a PA Soccer Coaches Association All-State selection as a senior…played for club team FC York Fusion and head coach Richard Chilcoat.
 
About Roy: Full name is Derrick Michael Roy…is the son of David and Melinda Roy… majoring in mid-level/elementary education for grades 4-8 with a concentration in math and social studies while pursuing a minor in coaching…father played soccer at the University of Maine.
