2014 (Junior): Maintained his role as a starting midfielder for the Raiders in his third season with the team…started all 16 matches in which he played, missing just one contest on the season…tied for fourth on the team in points with eight, scoring three goals and recording two assists…caged the game-winning goal in a 2-1 road victory at Lock Haven and also had an assist in the match…also scored goals against Georgian Court and Pitt-Johnstown…provided an assist on the only goal in a 1-0 win over California…totaled 18 shots, including nine on goal.
 
2013 (Sophomore): Played in 17 of 18 games for the Raiders in his second season…scored two goals, including tallies against East Stroudsburg and UPJ…had an assist on the game-winning goal against Seton Hill…made seven starts on the year, including the PSAC Quarterfinal contest at West Chester...scored on two of his four shots on goal for the season.
 
2012 (Freshman): Debuted for the Raiders with 13 games as a rookie…tallied six points, including goals against UDC and East Stroudsburg and assists against Lock Haven and Goldey-Beacom…made six starts on the season…did not play in just three games.
 
Warwick High School: Earned three varsity letters for the Warriors under head coach Dale Stoltzfus…also competed for club team Pennsylvania Classics under head coach Chris Colleti.
 
About Adams: Full name is Derek James Adams…is the son of James and Marsha Adams…majoring in supply chain management… sister Brynn played field hockey at Louisville and West Chester, winning a national championship with the Golden Rams in 2011.
