Vinnie D’Innocenzo, a former goalkeeper with the Raiders, returns to the Shippensburg University men’s soccer team in 2015 as a volunteer coach.
D’Innocenzo attended Shippensburg from 2011-14 and played club soccer upon his arrival. In the spring of 2013, D’Innocenzo earned a spot on the varsity team as a backup goalkeeper. He posted a shutout over Pitt-Johnstown in his lone appearance of 2014.
During his time at Shippensburg, D’Innocenzo has also been a student assistant with the Department of Sports Medicine, assisting at numerous athletic events.
A native of Phoenixville, D’Innocenzo graduated in May with a degree in political science. He plans to attend graduate school at Shippensburg in the spring.
