Matt Harder remains with the Shippensburg University men’s soccer team for the 2018 season and will serve as a student assistant coach.
Harder was a goalkeeper with the Raiders from 2014-17, appearing in 27 games and logging more than 2,400 minutes during his tenure. He posted nine victories, including four shutouts, and compiled a 1.85 goals-against average (GAA).
As a senior, Harder made a career-high 73 saves in 2017 – recording a .753 save percentage in 1,135 minutes of action. Harder finished with 136 career saves and a .731 career save percentage.
A native of Reston, Va., Harder is majoring in management information systems. He is expected to graduate this December.
