Derek Adams remains with the Shippensburg University men’s soccer team for the 2016 season as a volunteer assistant coach.
Adams played in 59 games for the Raiders from 2012-15, serving as a team captain in his senior year. He garnered postseason experience in 2013 on an SU squad that won nine games and reached the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Quarterfinals.
In all four of his seasons, Adams scored multiple goals – playing primarily as a midfielder. He made 41 starts. His career statistics include 10 goals – including three game-winners – and six assists.
A native of Lititz, Adams graduated from Shippensburg in May 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.
