2010-11 (Junior): Competed during the regular season in hurdle events and the 200 meters during his third year with the team.
2009-10 (Sophomore): Continued to work as a hurdler for the Raiders in his second season with the team…finished eighth in the 110-meter hurdles at the PSAC outdoor meet…competed at both the PSAC indoor and outdoor meets.
2008-09 (Freshman): Completed a strong debut season for the Red Raider track and field team and competed as a hurdler and sprinter…capped off his first year with a fifth-place finish in the 110-meter high hurdles at the PSAC outdoor meet.
Eastern Technical High School: Achieved eight letters for the Mavericks under the direction of coach Eric McCray and David Harrison…posted a career-best time of 7.73 seconds in the 55-meter high hurdles…won the Maryland state championship in the 55-meter indoor high hurdles in 2008…also played soccer.
Personal: Full name is Mark Ronald Cover…is the son of Ronald and Georgianna Cover…majoring in communications/journalism while seeking a minor in coaching…brother Kyle played rugby at UMBC.
