2014 (Freshman): Stamford attended Franklin Pierce University where he redshirted his entire 2014-2015 seasons. He will be competing for the first time since high school this winter.
Altoona Area High School: Stamford earned seven varsity letters for the Mountain Lions under head coach Mike Adams. He was a seven-time District 6 Champion, three-time TSTC Champion and a six-time PIAA state qualifier and a four-time medalist in Indoor. The highest at which he finished, third as a senior in the 60m. As a senior he was named third team All-State after his Indoor season. As a freshman he won the 100m dash at the West Central Coaches meet entering as a three seed and finishing with a time of 11.31.
Personal: Dreux Garrett Stamford is the son of Kurt Stamford and Heide Haluska. He is majoring in International Studies with a minor in Business Administration. He is the first member of his family to attend college. He has two brothers Devyn (13) and Theryn (11)
