2012-13 (Freshman): Was a PSAC indoor qualifier in the mile and 3K in his debut season for the Raiders…finished 10th in the mile at the conference meet with a personal best…competed outdoors primarily at 800 and 1,500 meters, qualifying for the conference championships in the latter…achieved his indoor best in the 3K at Bucknell…had a strong cross country season, serving as the team’s No. 3 runner at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships (in his inaugural 10K race) and the No. 4 runner at the PSAC Championships.

Linganore High School: Was a four-year varsity starter in cross country and track for the Lancers, totaling 12 letters under coaches Andres Wright and Alvin Pridgeon…named the 2011 Maryland Gatorade Runner of the Year and the 2011 Maryland State Runner of the Year…was a 10-time All-Conference selection who twice earned First Team All-State accolades…additional honors include two Conference Runner of the Year awards. 

Personal: Full name is Braden Lee Bruning…is the son of Francis and Brenda Bruning…majoring in mathematics and seeking a certificate in geographic information systems…has three siblings: Collin, Patrick and Riley.
