PSAC Championships Competition:

2021 Outdoor – 1500 (4th)
2020 Indoor – Mile (5th), 4x8 (1st)
2021 Outdoor: Finished fourth in the 1,500 meters at the PSAC Championships to highlight his debut outdoor campaign…achieved a season best in the 1,500 meters of 4:02.53 at Messiah and a season best in the 800 meters of 1:58.09 at the Mid-Week Invitational…competed in six meets.
2021 Indoor: No season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2020 Outdoor: No season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2020 Indoor: Contributed an individual scoring performance at the PSAC Championships and ran on the conference champion 4x800-meter relay at the PSAC Championships to conclude his debut indoor season…placed fifth in the mile with a PR at the PSAC Championships…ran a season best in the 800 meters at the Gulden Invitational…competed in four meets.
Cross Country
2020 (Sophomore): Delivered turns as a scoring runner in two of the team’s three races during an abbreviated season held in 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic…served as the team’s No. 5 runner at the LHU Winter Invite and the SU Invite with eighth-place finishes in both races…represented the Raiders at the PSAC Championships as the team’s No. 7 runner.
2019 (Freshman): Served as a scoring runner in the first four races in his debut season with the Raiders…posted a Top 10 finish at the Bloomsburg University Invitational as the team’s No. 2 runner and a Top 20 finish at the Piper Alumni Open as the team’s No. 3 runner…represented the Raiders at the PSAC Championships and the Atlantic Region Championships…achieved an 8K season best at the Paul Short Run…competed in all six meets.
Governor Mifflin High School: Totaled eight varsity letters spanning cross country and track & field for the Mustangs under head coach Matthew Carley…won a state medal in the 1,600 meters with an eighth-place finish and competed in the 3,200 meters at the 2019 PIAA Outdoor Championships…qualified for three events at the District III Championships as a senior, placing fourth in both the 1,600 and 3,200 meters…claimed the Berks County championships in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters as a senior…completed his career as a three-time District III Championships qualifier in the 1,600 meters and won the Berks County Championship in the event as a freshman…finished as a two-time state qualifier and two-time District III Championships medalist in the 1,600 meters…was a two-time All-Berks Cross Country runner and was a District III Championships cross country medalist as a junior…was an honor-roll student with a 3.3 GPA.
About Ermold: Full name is Alexander Raymond Ermold…is the son of Eric and Marina Ermold...majoring in accounting…has a brother, Austin, and a sister, Annika…parents Eric ‘83/’84M and Marina ’86 are both SU alums…cousins James vanRiemsdyk and Trevor vanRiemsdyk are both professional hockey players in the National Hockey League (NHL).
