Father Judge High School: Kehl thrived for the Crusaders under coach Kevin Carrol. He recorded the fastest time in the United States of any high school runner for the indoor mile in January 2010 and posted the third-fastest U.S. time of any high school runner for the outdoor mile in April 2010. His accomplishments led to All-State recognition as a junior and a senior.

Personal: Thomas Patrick Kehl is the son of Robert and Mary Kehl. He plans to major in art or graphic design.
