2-Time All-Atlantic Region (15th in 2016, 16th in 2017)
2017 (Junior): Earned All-PSAC First Team and USTFCCCA All-Region honors in his debut season with the Raiders…competed in all seven races during the season, serving as a scoring runner in six…finished as the team’s No. 5 runner at the PSAC Championships, Atlantic Region Championships and NCAA National Championships…achieved All-PSAC First Team honors with an eighth-place finish at the PSAC Championships…achieved All-Region honors with a 16th-place finish at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships…posted Top-10 finishes at the Division II Challenge and the Piper Alumni Open as the team’s No. 2 scoring runner…competed four times at 8K, twice at 10K, and once at 6K.
2016 (Sophomore): Achieved All-PSAC First Team and USTFCCCA All-Region honors in his second season at Lock Haven…competed in six races during the season…earned All-PSAC First Team honors with a 10th-place finish at the PSAC Championships…earned All-Region honors with a 15th-place finish at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships…served as the team’s No. 2 scoring runner at the NCAA National Championships…recorded an 8K personal best of 25:38 at the Paul Short Run “Gold” race and a 10K personal best of 32:50 at the NCAA National Championships.
2015 (Freshman): Competed in five races during his debut season at Lock Haven…represented Lock Haven at the PSAC Championships, finishing in 32nd place…established an 8K personal best of 26:08 at the 14th Annual LHU Invite…competed at the Paul Short Run…completed three 8K races.
Lower Dauphin High School: Totaled seven varsity letters in cross country and track & field for the Falcons under head coach John Butler…established PRs of 4:17 in the mile and 1:55.9 in the 800 meters.
About Weidner: Full name is Sean Edward Weidner...is the son of Kevin and Cathy Weidner...majoring in psychology…has two siblings, Melanie and Laura.
