2009 (R-Junior): Despite missing three races during the season, Neyhart came through when his team needed it most with solid production at the end of the season. He was Shippensburg’s No. 4 runner at the national championships, finishing 84th overall. Neyhart was also the No. 6 runner at the PSAC championships and one of SU’s runners at the regional meet. In outdoor track, Neyhart won a PSAC championship in the 1,500 meters and advanced to the national championships based on a solid provisional mark of 3:48.96. He also placed in the outdoor 800 meters and the indoor 800 and indoor DMR.
2008 (R-Sophomore): Neyhart continued his outstanding work with the Red Raider program, racing in the team’s four most important meets of the season. After posting solid efforts at the Paul Short Invitational and the PSU National Invitational, Neyhart recorded a new personal-best 8K time of 25:42 at the PSAC Championships that earned him 20th place as the team’s third-fastest runner. One week later, Neyhart ran the 10K regional course in 33:04, placing 17th overall and tying a teammate as the second-fastest SU competitor. Neyhart was also a member of the indoor DMR squad that set a new school record and also won a PSAC title. During outdoor track, Neyhart placed third in the 800-meters with a time of 1:53.99.
2007 (Sophomore): Neyhart completed a red-shirt season and ran the 6K Alumni Meet in 19:40 for a fourth-place finish. During the indoor track season, Neyhart was the runner-up in the 800-meters at the PSAC Championships with a time of 1:55.06. Neyhart was also the runner-up in the 1,500-meter event at the PSAC Outdoor Championships with a time of 3:52.
2006 (Freshman): Neyhart emerged as a strong competitor in his freshman season, making immediate contributions to the squad. He posted the squad’s third fastest time at the PSAC Championships, running the 8K course at Bloomsburg in 27:30, and recorded a ninth-place finish on the 6K home course, running the Alumni Meet in 20:23. Neyhart was the fourth-fastest Red Raider at the NCAA East Regionals, running the 10K course at Slippery Rock in 34:30. He ran in seven meets and was among the Top 6 runners for Shippensburg in all but one.
