2017 (Senior): Redshirt season.
2016 (Junior): Repeated as an All-PSAC Second Team performer in his third season with the Raiders…served as a scorer on two occasions, with a turn as the No. 4 runner at the Division II Challenge and as the No. 5 runner at the Mack Cooper Invitational…finished 29th at the PSAC Championships as the team’s No. 8 runner…narrowly missed a regional citation with an 18th-place finish at the Atlantic Region Championships as the team’s No. 6 runner…represented the Raiders at the NCAA National Championships…recorded three Top-20 finishes on the year…completed six races, including four at 8K and two at 10K.
2015 (Sophomore): Achieved All-PSAC Second Team honors and All-Region honors in his second season with the Raiders…finished 17th at the PSAC Championships as the team’s No. 5 runner…posted an 18th-place finish at the Atlantic Region Championships as the team’s No. 7 runner…recorded four Top-25 finishes on the season…represented the Raiders at the NCAA National Championships…completed seven races on the season, including four at 8K and two at 10K.
2014 (Freshman): Made an immediate impact as an All-PSAC Second Team and All-Region performer in his debut season with the Raiders…completed all eight of the team’s races on the year…served as a scoring runner on six occasions…finished 17th at the PSAC Championships as the team’s No. 5 runner…achieved an All-Region classification with a 24th-place finish at the Atlantic Region Championships…slotted as the team’s No. 5 scorer at the NCAA National Championships…posted a second-place overall finish at the ECAC Championships…was the team’s No. 3 scorer in the Paul Short Run “Gold” race…recorded Top-20 finishes at the Piper Alumni Open, Dickinson Long Invitational and the Mack Cooper Invitational.
Lower Dauphin High School: Amassed eight varsity letters for the Falcons under head coach John Butler…earned a ‘AAA’ state medal in cross country as a senior, placing 16th overall…won the Mid-Penn Conference cross country championship as a senior…finished as a two-time indoor state PTFCA qualifier at 3K and a two-time outdoor PIAA ‘AAA’ qualifier at both 1,600 meters and 3,200 meters…received three All Mid-Penn Conference classifications and three Patriot News First Team All Star selections.
About Nissley: Full name is Cole Alexander Nissley…is the son of Rodney and Sara Nissley…majoring in biology while seeking minors in coaching and theater…has two brothers, Quincy and Jordan.
