2018 All-PSAC Second Team (16th place)
2018 USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete
2019 (Sophomore): Competed in one race, the Bloomsburg University Invitational, in his second season with the Raiders.
2018 (Freshman): Was one of five Raiders to compete in all eight races during a successful debut season…named to the All-PSAC Second Team after a 16th-place finish at the conference championships in which he was the team’s No. 5 scoring runner…served as a scorer in four races, including the team’s No. 5 runner at the Atlantic Region Championships with a 28th-place finish…posted Top 30 finishes at both the Doug Watts Invitational in Edinboro and the Dickinson Long Invitational…achieved an 8K personal best with a time of 26:40 at the Paul Short Run, serving as the team’s final scorer for the race… received a USTFCCCA All-Academic designation.
Track & Field
2020 Indoor: Competed in one meet, running 5K at Susquehanna, in his second season with the Raiders.
2019 Outdoor: Redshirt season.
2019 Indoor: Represented the Raiders in distance events during his first indoor season…recorded a season best in the 3K at Kutztown and in the 5K at Susquehanna…competed in three meets.
Carlisle Area High School: Earned 10 varsity letters for the Thundering Herd, including nine in cross country and track & field under head coach Ed Boardman…was a three-time PIAA State Championships qualifier in cross country and once in track & field…achieved All-Sentinel honors for cross country…also competed in wrestling.
About Rush: Full name is Cade Anthony Rush…is the son of Roger and Shellee Rush…majoring in biology, concentrating in pre-med, while seeking a minor in coaching…has two brothers, Cole ’20 and Coy, and a sister, Mary…brother Cole is a member of the SU wrestling team.
