2015 MEC Runner of the Year
2-Time All-MEC First Team (8th in 2014, 1st in 2015)

2017 (R-Junior): Competed in five races in his third season with Wheeling Jesuit…finished 22nd at the MEC Championships…ran five times at 8K, achieving a season best of 26:43 at the Louisville Classic…posted Top 25 finishes at the Marty Uher Invitational and the Division II Challenge.
 
2016 (Junior): Redshirt season.
 
2015 (Sophomore): Named the MEC Runner of the Year, earning All-MEC First Team honors by winning the individual conference championship in his second season at Wheeling Jesuit…placed 42nd at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships…competed in six races, including three times at 8K…set a new 8K PR of 25:44 at the Paul Short Run…finished eighth at the Mack Cooper Invitational.
 
2014 (Freshman): Earned All-MEC First Team honors with an eighth-place individual finish in his debut season at Wheeling Jesuit…competed in five races, including four at 8K…represented Wheeling at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships…set an 8K PR of 26:43 at the ECAC Division II Championships.
 
Wheeling Park High School: Totaled 10 varsity letters for the Patriots, including seven in track & field and cross country…earned All-OVAC honors in cross country in 2012 and 2013…achieved All-OVAC honors in track & field in 2014…established PRs of 4:30 at 1,600 meters and 9:40 at 3,200 meters…also earned three varsity letters in swimming.
 
About Schrimp: Full name is Albert James Schrimp…is the son of Robert Schrimp…majoring in psychological science as a graduate student…has a brother, Aaron.
