Biography

2013-14: (Senior): Medical-redshirt season.
 
2012-13 (Junior): Named to the All-PSAC East Second Team after developing into one of the premier centers in the conference in his third season…started every game in which he played en route to the best statistical season of his career…led the team in minutes, averaging 32.4 per game…was second in scoring at 13.5 points per game, ranking among the Top-20 in the PSAC…led the team and ranked seventh in the PSAC with 7.4 rebounds per game…also led the team in blocks (16) and in shooting, ranking third in the conference with a 55.4 percent clip (123-of-222)…scored in double figures in 20 games, including a stretch of eight in a row through January…scored at least 20 points on three occasions, including a career-high 24 points against both Kutztown and Cheyney…also matched his career high of 12 rebounds against Kutztown…recorded double-doubles against Kutztown and East Stroudsburg…matched his career high with 10 field goals against Kutztown and Cheyney…was the team’s leading rebounder in 15 games and leading scorer in five games.
 
2011-12 (Sophomore): Once again served as the team’s starting center in his second season with Shippensburg…played in all but one game on the season and started 23 contests…averaged 9.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game…led the team with 25 blocks and was 13th in the PSAC with 0.9 blocked shots per game…led all regulars in shooting, going 108-of-175 from the floor (61.7 percent)…scored a career-high 21 points on 9-of-10 shooting against Penn State Wilkes-Barre…matched that mark 11 days later when he went 10-of-12 from the field for 21 points and a season-high 12 rebounds…also had double-digit rebounds against California (Pa.) that, along with 18 points, was his first of two double-doubles on the season…scored in double figures in 13 games and scored 17 or more points on six different occasions…led the team in scoring in six games.
 
2010-11 (Freshman): Averaged 6.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while starting in all 26 games in his rookie season with the Raiders…proved to be a force defensively by leading the team with 23 blocks…shot 48.6 percent from the field…played 24.1 minutes per game…led the team in rebounds on 10 different occasions and pulled in a career-high 14 boards in a home loss versus Felician…scored 10 points, eight of them in the fourth quarter, and led the team with nine rebounds in a road win at Bloomsburg.
 
Mechanicsburg High School: Three-year varsity letter-winner under the tutelage of head coach Bob Strickler...led Mechanicsburg to the District 3 Playoffs and a 12-11 season...averaged 12.7 points and 10 rebounds per contest...was a Mid Penn Keystone Division All Star...honored as a Patriot News Big 15 All Star…finished his high school career as the second-leading rebounder in Mechanicsburg history.

Personal: Full name is Dylan Wood Edgar…is the son of Ken and Christina Edgar…majoring in finance…has three siblings, Chris, Steve and Doug…father Ken attended Shippensburg and had the nickname “Incredible Hulk.”
