Brad Rideout begins his first season as a men’s basketball assistant coach at Shippensburg University in 2012.
Rideout brings with him nearly 25 years of experience coaching at both the high school and collegiate levels. He last served as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Messiah College (his second stint at the school) before spending the previous nine seasons as a head girl’s basketball coach. Rideout coached his alma mater Chambersburg for two years beginning in 2002 before leading Greencastle’s program for seven seasons.
From 1993-98 and again from 2000-02, Rideout served as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn. Rideout began his coaching career at Chambersburg as a boy’s basketball assistant coach in 1986.
In addition to his years coaching at the high school and college level, Rideout has directed and/or coached at summer basketball camps in Kentucky, Tennessee, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
