Shippensburg University Athletics

2020 (Junior): Attended Wheeling University in the fall and transferred to Shippensburg for the spring semester…no games played due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
2019 (Sophomore): Started all 11 games at quarterback for the Cardinals of Wheeling University in its inaugural varsity season…totaled 2,186 passing yards and 13 passing touchdowns while completing 54.4 percent of his passes…led the Mountain East Conference (MEC) with 219 completions…ranked sixth in the MEC in averaging 198.7 passing yards per game…posted season highs of 401 passing yards and 26 pass completions in the season opener versus West Liberty, finishing as one of just three passers in the league to eclipse 400 passing yards in a single game during the season…eclipsed 300 passing yards twice, including a 25-of-38 performance for 310 yards against West Virginia Wesleyan…tossed a season-high three touchdown passes against Urbana and West Virginia Wesleyan…ran for a season-high 32 yards against West Virginia State and scored a rushing touchdown in the season opener against West Liberty…caught an 11-yard touchdown against McKendree…had multiple touchdown passes in four games…threw for 200 or more passing yards in three of the first four games of the season.
 
2018 (Freshman): Was a member of the team at Wheeling University during its inaugural season of football, winning all eight junior varsity contests on the schedule.
 
Bullis High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Bulldogs under head coach Pat Cilento…named to the All-Conference First Team and received All-Metro honorable mention as his team’s Offensive MVP during his senior season…posted a 17-3 record as a two-year starter with more than 5,500 passing yards, 51 touchdowns, four interceptions and a 62.0 completion percentage…served as a the starting quarterback as a junior and senior after backing up NFL first-round pick Dwayne Haskins Jr….amassed 12 varsity letters overall spanning football, basketball and golf.
 
About Strachan: Full name is Tucker Davidson Strachan…is the son of Bret and Martha Strachan…majoring in management…has two siblings: Shelby and Brody…father Bret played quarterback at UNC…uncle Tim Strachan played quarterback at Penn State…grandfather Richard Strachan was a quarterback at Navy who backed up NFL Hall of Famer Roger Staubach.
