Somerset Area High School: Played defensive tackle for the Golden Eagles under head coach Bob Landis…earned three varsity letters…finished senior season with 40 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble…totaled 110 tackles and four sacks on his career…named to the Somerset All-County team and the LHAC All-Conference team as a senior…also played baseball and hockey.

Personal: Full name is Mitchell Ryan Merryman…is the son of Russ and Michie Merryman…plans to major in pre-school K-4.
