2020 (R-Senior): No season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
2019 (R-Junior): Appeared in nine games as a starter and key reserve along the offensive line, earning starts at center in the first four games of the season…worked primarily as an interior lineman…participated in 42 percent of the team’s snaps on the season…registered a season-high 78 snaps at Slippery Rock and was on the field for 76 snaps at Cal U…achieved coach grade-outs of 70 percent or better in five games, including a 94-percent gradeout against Kutztown and an 85-percent gradeout against Lock Haven.
 
2018 (R-Sophomore): Played in 10 games as a reserve along the offensive line in his second season, working along the interior…participated in 26 percent of the team’s snaps on the season…registered a season-high 58 snaps against Lock Haven…tallied 49 snaps in the season opener against Clarion…achieved coach grade-outs of 70 percent or better in five games, including a 78-percent grade-out against Lock Haven.
 
2017 (R-Freshman): Appeared in nine games as a reserve on the offensive line, primarily working at center…participated in 15 percent of the team’s snaps on the season…earned a season-high 40 snaps against Cheyney…was on the field for 20 or more snaps against Millersville, Lock Haven and East Stroudsburg…achieved coach grade-outs of 65 percent or better on three occasions.
 
2016 (Freshman): Redshirt season.
 
Boyertown Area High School: Earned two varsity letters for the Bears under head coach George Parkinson…named to the All-Area Second Team as an offensive lineman…received All-Area honorable mention as a defensive lineman…career totals include 27 tackles and three sacks…also competed in track & field…was a member of the honor roll.
 
About Banks: Full name is Michael John Banks…is the son of David and Kim Banks…seeking a master’s degree in organizational development & leadership, concentrating in higher education structure & policy, after graduating in December 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a minor in coaching…has a brother, David.
