2018 (R-Junior): Played in all 11 games, making four starts in his third season on the field…named to the 2018 Football Gazette All-Super Region 1 Second Team at fullback…recorded 13 rushing attempts, the first rushes of his career…totaled 23 rushing yards…scored rushing touchdowns against Slippery Rock and Millersville…totaled four receptions for 59 receiving yards…registered a career-long reception of 36 yards at Lock Haven…hauled in multiple receptions against Kutztown…tallied nine tackles for his work on special teams, including a season-best three tackles at IUP.
 
 2017 (R-Sophomore): Appeared in all 12 games as a fullback and integral special teams performer in his second season…earned starts at fullback against Clarion, East Stroudsburg and Millersville…set single-season career bests of six receptions, 61 receiving yards and a touchdown…caught two passes for 29 yards and a touchdown against Seton Hill…had at least one reception in five games…recorded nine tackles (six solo) on special teams…established a single-game career best of four tackles in the season opener against American International…tallied at least one tackle in six games.
 
2016 (R-Freshman): Played in all 11 games as a fullback in his debut season on the field…caught four passes for 11 yards…recorded a catch in each of the season’s first three games – at American International, versus Gannon and versus Clarion…also caught a pass for seven yards versus Cheyney.
 
2015 (Freshman): Redshirt season.
 
Central Bucks West High School: Totaled multiple varsity letters for the Bucks under head coach Brian Hensel…earned All-Suburban One League (SOL) Third Team honors as a senior running back, All-SOL Honorable Mention as a senior defensive tackle and All-SOL Honorable Mention as a junior linebacker…led his team in receptions and receiving yards as a senior…was an honor-roll student…also played lacrosse. 
 
About Durkin: Full name is Luke Shepherd Durkin…is the son of Mike Durkin and Christina Nisbet…graduated in May 2019 with a degree in management and is now studying toward his MBA with a concentration in business analytics…has a brother, Sam…father Mike is a 1974 SU graduate.
