2017 Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year
 
2020 (R-Junior): No season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
2019 (R-Sophomore): Played in the first seven games of the season at linebacker, making six starts in his second season…ranked among the team’s Top 10 tackles with 26 for the season, including 17 solo tackles…recorded his first career interception in the season opener against Clarion and returned it for 21 yards…totaled 3.0 TFLs, having a hand in a TFL in four games…registered multiple tackles in all seven games, including a season-high five tackles in each of the first two games of the season.
 
2018 (R-Freshman): Appeared in 10 games as a reserve linebacker in his debut season on the field…totaled 20 tackles (10 solo)…recovered a fumble against Slippery Rock…contributed to a tackle-for-loss (TFL) against Cal U…recorded a single-game career-high six tackles against Cal U…totaled at least one tackle in eight games, including multiple tackles in five games…had four tackles against LIU Post.
 
2017 (Freshman): Redshirt season…named the Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year at the postseason awards banquet.
 
Middletown Area High School: Earned two varsity letters with the Blue Raiders under head coach Brett Myers…totaled 102 tackles and two sacks his senior year…also competed in wrestling and track.
 
About Woody: Full name is Laron Stanley Woody… is the son of Nicole Woody…majoring in criminal justice…is a member of SU ROTC.
