2009 (R-Junior): Maintained his status as a valuable tight end and blocker along the offensive line for Shippensburg…appeared in all 12 games during the season…caught one pass for seven yards…received his first career start at C.W. Post.

2008 (R-Sophomore): Solidified his role as a dependable tight end…appeared in 10 games…hauled in four receptions for 51 total yards…nabbed first career touchdown against Cheyney on a 24-yard strike…recorded a career-high 32 yards in the contest against Cheyney…had catches against Shepherd and Mercyhurst…averaged 12.8 yards per catch…received the Patti Rees Memorial Scholarship for the 2009 season in honor of a never-say-quit attitude and an overall dedication to the program.

2007 (R-Freshman): Made three appearances in his debut season against Lock Haven, IUP and California (Pa.)…returned one kick for five yards in the season finale against California (Pa.)…did not record any other statistics on the season.

2006 (Freshman): Redshirt season.

Springfield High School: Played for head coach Chris Bell…competed in the Central League…played tight end while on offense and also served as a defensive lineman…was an offensive tackle for a majority of his high school career…led his team in tackles for loss in his senior season…named to the All-Central League squad as an offensive and defensive lineman…was a three-time letterman, including twice at the varsity level…earned honorable mention from the Delco All Stars, was also the starting tight end for the West team in the All Star Hero Bowl.

Personal: Full name is Jacob Richard Biondi…is the son of Ken and Joan Biondi…major is exercise science while minoring in biology…is one of three children with younger brothers Adam and Josh.
