2009 (Freshman): Redshirt season.

Indian Valley High School: Earned three letters as a center and a defensive tackle for the Warriors while competing in the Mountain Athletic Conference under head coach Tom Shearer…completed his high school career with 64 tackles, seven sacks and four fumble recoveries…named a first-team defensive tackle as a senior and a second-team center as a junior and senior…competed in the Lezzer Lumber Classic all-star game…won a district championship as a junior…also threw shot put and discus while on the track team.

Personal: Full name is Grant Robert Harpster…is the son of Todd and Deb Harpster…born Jan. 8, 1991…major is undeclared…father is a 1984 graduate and a three-year letterwinner with the football team who was an All-PSAC Second Team center as a senior.
