Enters the season ready to battle for playing time at safety after debuting in five games for the Red Raiders last season … will provide depth for the secondary… tied with two others in the secondary with a 385-pound squat during spring lifting.

2007 (Red-shirt freshman):  Played in the final six games of the season for the Red Raiders in his first action with the team… totaled four tackles, including one solo, during the season…appeared in games against Clarion, Millersville, Slippery Rock, Lock Haven, IUP and California (Pa.)… posted a career-high two tackles at Clarion on October 6.

2006 (Freshman):  Red-shirt season.

Boiling Springs High School:  Played for head coach Matt Heiser … competed in the Mid-Penn Capital League … played tight end and safety … totaled nine touchdowns and three interceptions during his senior season … combined to amass 15 touchdowns over the course of three seasons in high school … named to second-team squads as a defender in his junior season and for offense in his senior season … earned all-area second team honors from the Carlisle Sentinel … won three letters in football and two in track for sprinting and jumps.
