Shippensburg University Athletics

2016 (Sophomore): Started all 18 games on defense for the Raiders in her second season with the team…was one of just four players to start all 18 games…finished the year with three points…scored a goal in a victory at Pitt-Johnstown and tallied an assist in a victory over Seton Hill…totaled nine shots, two of which were on goal…contributed to a defense that allowed one goal or less in eight games, including seven shutouts.
 
2015 (Freshman): Appeared in six games as a midfield and defensive presence during her first year with the Raiders…totaled two shots on the year, one of which was on goal against Shepherd.

Hollidaysburg High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Golden Tigers under the direction of head coach Dave Soellner…named an Altoona Mirror First Team All Star for her play…finished as her team’s leading goals and assists leader…credited with eight unassisted goals on corner kicks in her career…named team MVP as a junior, received coaches award as a sophomore and honored as team’s Rookie of the Year as a high-school freshman…also competed in swimming and track & field…played club soccer with AC United under coach Bruce Makin…named to multiple honor rolls with a 3.5 GPA as a member of the National Honor Society.
 
About Brown: Full name is Sarah Emily Brown…is the daughter of John and Rhonda Brown…majoring in business administration…has a sister, Meredith…also has a cousin who played four years of collegiate soccer at the U.S. Naval Academy.
