Biography

2014 (R-Junior): Named to Don Hansen’s Football Gazette All-Super Region 1 Third Team squad at fullback to cap off his third season with the team…started 10 games and played in all 11 games…served as a valuable blocker and occasional pass catcher out of the backfield or occasionally lined up at tight end…finished with 10 catches for 128 yards and a touchdown…caught a career-long 41-yard pass against East Stroudsburg…had four receptions of 10 or more yards, including a 12-yard touchdown against Kutztown…finished with at least one reception in eight games…credited with a tackle at Millersville.
 
2013 (R-Sophomore): Made the transition from tight end to the team’s starting fullback in his second season on the field for the Raiders…played in all but one game on the season with six starts…used his receiving skills out of the backfield, catching 11 passes for 100 yards on the season…averaged 9.1 yards per catch…caught a career-high four passes for 39 yards at Millersville…had a season-long 18-yard catch at Lock Haven.
 
2012 (R-Freshman): Emerged as the second-string tight end and a reliable pass catcher and blocker for the Red Raiders in his debut season on the field…played in all 13 games during the season…hauled in four receptions during the season totaling 54 yards, including a five-yard touchdown grab versus Millersville…caught two passes for 41 yards at Lock Haven.
 
2011 (Freshman): Redshirt season.
 
Lewistown Area High School: Played wide receiver and tight end for the Panthers under head coach Steven Guthoff…earned three varsity letters…named All-Mountain League Second Team as a senior wide receiver…received All-Mountain League honorable mention as a junior…hauled in 25 receptions as a senior for 346 yards and five touchdowns…totaled nearly 750 receiving yards in his career…was a three-year varsity letterwinner in basketball…picked to All-Mountain League First Team squad as a senior basketball player…designated a scholar athlete by the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame, earning recognition for athletics, academics, and community service.
