Mike Palmer remains with the Shippensburg University football team in 2019, serving as a volunteer assistant coach who will work with the offensive line.
A four-year letterman as offensive lineman for the Red Raiders from 2016-19, Palmer appeared in 42 games during his career. He was the full-time starting left tackle in each of his final two seasons with the Red Raiders, and logged more than 800 snaps in each of his final three seasons.
Palmer graduated in December 2018 with a bachelor of science in physics and a minor in mathematics. He is one of five Red Raiders named to the 2019 National Football Foundation (NFF)'s Hampshire Honor Society for his excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
A native of Langhorne, Palmer is pursuing his Master of Arts in Teaching in STEM Education at Shippensburg, serving as a student teacher in the Shippensburg Area School District this year while assisting the Red Raiders.
